"There's something rotten in the state of Denmark"

...and it's that there's only two weeks left.
About a month ago a few of us took a trip up to Kronborg Slot in Helsingør, more commonly know as Hamlet's castle in Elsinore to us English speakers. Inside they had christmas markets and a jazz band as well as a collection of dead pheasants for sale in the courtyard (seriously everyone was wlaking around with a dead pheasant). We visit that museum part of the castle as well as the extremely poorly lit and creepy underground section complete with historically dressed mannequins hiding in corners ready to scare the living crap out of you.

Christmas in Copenhagen

Whilst I spent Christmas day in Berlin Copenhagen was still particularly Christmas-y from late November between Markets, street decorations and the overwhelming smell of pine from the Tivoli main entrance. Tivoli's christmas theme this year was Russian as well as Danish and Scandinavian. The weather was a little shocking on these days so unfortunately the photos are as well.
Disclaimer: All snow seen is fake snow.
The Reindeer wouldn't let me get a good photo.
